Description
This 2021 Sandanski Misket is an indigenous grape from Struma Valley, South Western Bulgaria, that is grown on chalk and limestone in the Ilindentci village, where most of the Via Verde vineyards are situated.
The winery is known for aromatic whites and elegant but full-bodied reds from local grape varieties like Melnik, Syrah, and Mavrud.
Expressions is their middle range of delicious wines made to preserve varietal character. Bone dry and mineral due to the chalky soil, it combines green apples with an almost salty dry finish. A great aperitif or match to grilled fish, green salads, and pasta in rich sauces.
