Local grape variety Mavrud gets a little help from the classic and noble Cabernet Sauvignon to produce a powerful and complex wine. At peak now although it can keep and improve further, it is round and supple on the palate, mixing black cherries and red berries. Smoke and cedar notes on the finish. Great with lamb and beef dishes as well as hard cheeses.
